Great to hear you’re ready to move forward with your therapy journey!
Please feel free to request an appointment through the Contact Me page at your convenience. I’ll promptly set your appointment time and create your profile in Zanda, which is the secure online health record system that I use.
This platform allows you to complete important paperwork ahead of our first session, so we can spend that time focusing on what brought you to counselling and your goals. Afterward, you’ll be able to use Zanda anytime to easily book, change, or manage your appointments whenever you need.

At this time, I only offer appointments online through the Zoom platform.
Please be aware that telehealth counselling requires you to have access to a stable, reliable internet connection in a quiet and confidential setting to ensure the best possible experience.
For your safety and to maintain the quality of our session, I am unable to hold a telehealth counselling appointment with you if you are driving, in a noisy environment, or in a crowded public space.

I generally recommend starting with weekly counselling sessions to build momentum and make steady progress on the concerns that brought you to therapy. Over time, we can gradually move to fortnightly or monthly appointments as appropriate.
That said, I’m always happy to meet you where you are and adjust the frequency to what feels right for you. Your needs and pace are what matter most in this process.

Yes — with a few important exceptions.
What you share in counselling is confidential. However, I am legally required to break confidentiality if there is a risk of serious harm to yourself or others, or if I become aware of child abuse or neglect, in line with my duties as a mandatory reporter.
If you would like me to involve another provider or support person in your care, I will ask you to sign a consent form giving me permission to share information with them.
Although rare, if I am ordered by a court to disclose information about your counselling, I am legally obligated to comply.
Lastly, the practice management software I use complies with the Australian Privacy Act to help ensure that your information — and mine — remains private and secure.
